Homemade frozen chocolate pudding recipe

If you have a banana that’s getting very ripe but you are not ready to eat it yet, pop it in the freezer! Then when you are in the mood for a yummy frozen treat, you will already have the basis for that treat – a frozen banana! Yup, a frozen banana can be used to create that creamy, rich texture of ice cream without an ice cream maker and without heavy cream. All you will need is a blender. Trust me, I’ve done this so many times before- here and here, to name a few times.

This time, I added a bit more milk than usual to get a thinner consistency – similar to a pudding. And I flavored it with CHOCOLATE, which turned out so delicious! Here is the recipe.

Homemade frozen chocolate pudding recipe

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 2-3 squares chocolate bar
  • 1/2 cup milk (I used skim, but you could opt for whole)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  1. Start by putting the chocolate bar in the blender or food processor until it has been thoroughly broken down into tiny pieces.
  2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
  3. Enjoy immediately!
